I am not really a truck driver anymore. If there is any word like ex-truck driver and if it means anything to you, that’s what I think I am at the moment.

In these few lines, I will share with you my wealth mentality and the motivation I created for myself to pull through the tough times of my life.

Poverty is a mindset limitation.

There are some businesses that don’t have an office but has made millions from Fiverr.

There are thousands of Inventors who have raised money from crowdfunding.

The most important factor of Wealth Mindset orientation is getting an education.

I was a truck driver for one year and six months in Ishiagu, Ebonyi state.

I set a goal to become a web developer. I first bought a generator from the meager earnings I was saving up since there was no electricity.

I downloaded eBooks about programming and web design and I studied 5 hours every night for six months.

To cut the story short, I have been a web developer for more than eight years.

The mindset I have guarantees that I am already wealthy.

If we refuse to limit our potentials by having a positive mindset about wealth, there is nothing we cannot achieve.

The first most important factor you must consider should be your vision.

If we refuse to limit our potentials by having a positive mindset about wealth, there is nothing we cannot achieve.

If you know where you want to be, you are almost there.

A strong conviction of who you want to become is important in your quest for greatness.

You can only achieve what your mind can conceive.

The opportunities that will come your way in life might pass you by without preparation.

Education prepares you.

I am not talking about the conventional education system.

I learned how to build core business applications from my room.

Learning is not limited to an environment. It depends on your capacity to adapt to change and make necessary adjustments to suit your vision.

You cannot learn from school half as much as what the streets would teach you.

The streets taught me to be self-reliant.

I had to rely on whatever I earn to buy a power generator.

If I don’t earn, I might as well go hungry. Every day I must earn.

The street taught me to plan ahead.

The job of a truck driver is tough.

I drove for hours every single day. I remember telling myself that I won’t drive that truck in the morning before going to bed after I must have taken the pain to study and practice object-oriented programming.

I needed to have an escape plan from the driving job.

The money was good but the suffering was extreme.

I came home some days with ₦30,000 or more.

That was a months’ salary as a money counter at the time of my industrial training at the bank.

My plan was to quit truck driving work as soon as I complete my practical study in web design and development.

I also needed industrial experience with building websites. I learned everything I needed to know at the time to get a job.

I moved to Lagos from Ishiagu and secured a job.

I needed to get a Higher National Diploma like everyone else, but I stayed on the web development role in the Information Technology job for eight months after which I had gained both industrial experience and also learned the trade of selling my services through direct marketing.

How I landed The ₦1,500,000 Million Naira Project was through direct marketing.

I was able to further my education with the money my client paid in installments. This settled my fees and paid for every other thing I needed in school at the time.

If you are out there and you already have a vision of where you want to be, and everything looks impossible to you, don’t be dismayed.

Get an education in line with your vision.

Get an education in line with your vision.

Do a menial job if that’s what it takes to put food on your table while you spend the extra on gaining knowledge of your chosen path.

Save some money from your hustle, spend it on purchasing knowledge.

No matter how comfortable the money you make from your hustle is, make sure you don’t destroy your health in the process.

Don’t stay too long hustling. Plan ahead.

Move to the next level as quickly as you can.

Make sure you win.

I would like you to watch this short clip posted on Linkedin and also read my comments on it.

This is the reflex action from survival instincts at work… lol
I had to watch this video over and over again…
Did you notice that we are in real-life situations like this every day?
The woman was expecting the door to open on the other side just as she got to the other end…
The door did not open and the only exit that she could see was where she was coming from and this was the option she took. It could have closed on her if not for her speed.
How many times do we go back to where we are coming from because we are afraid we will be trapped in our current adventure… so we give up and turn back because we can’t see the future?
It takes experience and help from other people who have been there to help us sometimes; through life events and adventures.
Don’t follow your instincts all the time…

Have you ever thought about adding a
little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you
    say is important and all.
Nevertheless just imagine if you added some great images or video
clips to give your posts more, ?pop?! Your content is excellent but with
pics and video clips, this blog could certainly be one
of the greatest in its field.
    Fantastic blog!
